The members of Fox Valley Developers are committed to giving back to the community and are grateful that $62,400 was raised at the Annual Holiday Fundraiser for Hesed House hosted by O’Malley’s Pub & Eatery. Every dollar raised will go back to fighting against homelessness in the greater Aurora region.

Hesed House is the second largest shelter in the State of Illinois, and the largest shelter outside of the city of Chicago. With the help of professional staff, alliances with outside agencies and 6,000 volunteers from 70 area churches, almost one thousand individuals, including nearly 200 children are served each year through Hesed House’s shelter and three housing programs.

The three presenting sponsors of the event were Konrad Construction, Glasshopper Schor Glass, and Scientel Solutions.

The Woerman, Poulakidas and Konrad families would like to thank everyone who donated and participated in the event and donated to this great cause. In particular, the families would like to thank:

  • Mayor Richard C. Irvin
  • Alderman Sherman Kenkins
  • Alderman Tina Bohman
